The purpose of this study was to know the effect of electroacupuncture in patients with chronic painful or non-painful vegetative symptom. Especially, focused on non-painful vegetative symptom, considered to sympathetic dysfunction including
cold,
cooling, heat, bluish color, sweating, etc.
The good effect of electroacupuncture was showed in both painful and non-painful symptom group. The better effect was found in non-painful vegetative symptom and non nerve injured group than painful symptom and nerve injured group. As a result,
non-painful vegetative symptom was a good indication of the electroacupuncture.
